past the point of help since early april.

As previously stated, this sketch blog has gone from a post every two days to a post every two months for the follow reasons:

a) most of my artistic efforts have been directed towards my illustration thesis, which I am not showing online (yet?)

&

b) my room is set up in such a way that I don’t have easy access to my scanner. (I can’t fit a computer desk in my apartment.)

Anyway, this update, two digital (!!) images I’ve done in the last week or two.  I’ll upload a comic I did back in december in a bit.  Also it looks like I’ll be redesigning one of my sites for a class this semester, which is pretty good since they both pretty badly need some fixing. (This site is ugly, and the portfolio site is rarely updated. Pretty crazy since half the reason I started drawing in the first place was to have something to put on the websites I was OCD about updating and redesigning. And, then I went OCD about drawings pictures for a few years.  Now I’m in art school and I’m OCD about playing Solitaire and reading the same ten books, cover to cover, five to eight per week, over and over. )  It’s been so long since I’ve actually accessed the sites I don’t even have an FTP client on my computer anymore. (To my credit, I did upgrade my OS a few months ago…)

Also if you’re following this through the livejournal mirror, vague rumours inform me livejournal might implode soon?  If it does, be sure to add the RSS feed to whatever else you use for feed readin’, or kick it old school by constantly manually checking back to actual website on the off chance I might have updated.

(The above small-i-fied for mass consumption. Youc an still click on it if you want to make it bigger.)

This and the next were done with ArtRage, a nice and inexpensive little program for mac I discovered. It lets me work digitally the same way I work with oils in meatspace, which is pretty damn cool, except that I still paint too dark.
